My talents include crying over drag queens and eating cheetos
i don’t understand why some ‘fans’ think they have the right to talk shit about the queens????? like no???
Drag queens work really really hard, it’s not as easy as they make it look. Do yall have any idea how much work, time, money, and dedication goes into drag? They’re just trying to do what they love and pay the rent, they don’t need rude ass strangers commenting up on their shit and putting them down.
Like excuse me, are you a drag queen? Do you have any idea the types of hardships some queens have to over come? Do you know how to paint a face? Do you know how to work a lacefront? Do you know how to lipsync? Can you put together a full choreography number? Can you sew an outfit/costume? Do you face constant discrimination and harassment just for doing your job?
i don’t see you putting yourself out there. i don’t see you up on stage. i don’t see you painted for the gods. i don’t see you hosting shows or dancing the house down. i don’t see you on tv giving it your all and trying to make a name for yourself. i don’t see you working hard to be successful, instead you’re sitting behind a computer spewing hate towards people you don’t even know.
Yall need to calm the fuck down down and leave these queens alone. There are a hundred different kinds of drag, there’s no such thing as right or wrong. That’s what’s so amazing about drag, there are no rules- so stop trying to force your ideas of what it should be onto other people. Just because a queen might not fit into your ~preferred aesthetic~ it doesn’t mean that they’re not talented.
Drag is an art form, and all art is beautiful. If you ask me, every drag queen ever is amazing.
Everyone else is relying on ugly - why can’t I rely on pretty?
